Couldn't do Hobby because of the Warrior event there this weekend... so I went to Heia for the first time in a VERY long time...Glad I did and glad I got it out of my system ( I have a deep rooted dislike for Scrooge and was adamant to support Hero without him seeing any of my Randelas... I got it right )quick rant before I share my pics...Like, RocknRolla...I won't be back. There were motorbikes in my usual riding area in Stutt so I had to make alternative arrangements for a ride. Took the 22km uphill to Gubu Dam, a favourite trout fishing spot, in the 40 to 65kmph headwinds yesterday. Then to my short lived relief took off to the left into the mountain, where the steep hills started biting. Mt Kempf is a 1450m peak in the Amatola's, and the ride from the Kubusie river at 810m is a long drag of a climb, but the views were worth the rideOn the steep pull up to the peak The Hogsback, Gaika's Kop and the Elandsberg Gubu Dam and Mt Kubusie Stutterheim And a panorama looking east BenReaper, BrandonF_, RocknRolla and 7 others 10 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
