I am trying hard to convince hubby to go do hill repeats with me.. he doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm

Terrible things those! It'll take a whole troop of dancing girls to get me even mildly enthusiastic about hill repeats. Don't feel bad, he still loves you.

The plan:- Brave treacherous weather conditions at FUN Gaalens and ride the trails

Common sense intervened and that plan was changed to a chilled pedal to Harties  instead.

Here a pair of very relaxed Cambers are rested against the Triumphal Arch that was built over the Dam wall to provide structural mass to the wall's water retaining strength.

Above the arch is a Latin inscription, reading "Dedi in deserto aquas fulmina in invio " which means "I shall pour down rain on the thirsty land and showers on the dry ground"

Which couldn't be more appropriate today.

Besides the bars and shifter/brake levers it's all MTB .... Mechanical disk calipers and then some of the fattest road biased tyres I could find (35mm)

plastic or a-loomi-num frame?

You've given me half an idea on how to revive/convert my aloominum framed Merida (TFS 500D).

In this case plastic but it was an old Merida 29lite ALU frame before ... It'll work! Don't think about it, just do it ????
