And? How'd it go?

Fantastic ride, major step up from my scale 960,and not because of the suspension. Steering is way more responsive, brakes have control as apposed to being on/off switch. Handling, cornering, all better and obviously being new, took it easier while I learn its handling.

Off to Eden today with the friend who also got the 930 on Friday, his first ride out will be today and he is coming from a 2009 giant hard tail...

Took the family up the the Sunshine Coast to a bike friendly part of the world (Marcoola), where one can can cycle on dedicated bike paths to the local cafes, restaurants, beaches etc. Didn't use the car once over the three days..

Cycled to Mt Coolum - which must be one of the smallest national parks in the world to climb up the 208 m to the peak. Well worth the burn in the legs.

Saturday - took Maritz and one of his class mates to Bloemendal.

FIRST time on a "trail" for his buddy ....

Did some skills training on the soccer field first.  Then for some fun (and more training) on the kiddies track.

Should have seen the mums face when the kid rode down the "stairs" ...

Later Maritz and I did B-Spot.  THANKS for the reworked trail !!  Two very muddy spots due to the recent rain .... Maritz wanted a second run of B Spot, which we did.

Back at home .... we play hard, but then we take care of our rides

Nice soft "shower spray" from the rain water tanks to get the worst mud off, then a proper wash and lube ...

So this morning my mates did pitch up and we did the loop intended for yesterday.

It was coldAF with temps reading at around 3° as the sun started peaking over the mountains.

The cold could not dampen our spirits though and the sunrise and views made it much more bearable.????
