Frosty Posted July 21, 2018 Share Imperial century today, incorporating the new 110Km #CCMNC race route. Roads are in good condition, with lots of sections have newly laid tar roads, which should make for some good, fast racing in October. 5 paragliders crossed our path trying to find some thermals in the freezing cold area near Diduza (outside Nigel). BenReaper Posted July 21, 2018 Share Was too tired this morning to get up early so slept in a bit and set of a little later. Glad I decided to go riding as it turned into a beautiful day. DJR, gummibear, Andrew_Smith and 2 others

Fruity Posted July 22, 2018 Share Started with the group at Suncoast at 5:30am, then stopped in Umhlanga with my brother in law for a few pics, then headed back to Suncoast. Chilled ride for me as it's been a few months since I've been on the saddle. DJR Posted July 22, 2018 Share Me-myself-I -------- a leasurely ride from home, through the Cape Town city centre and on along the Atlantic. Had 2 surprises, once again proving that you can always expect the unexpected: 1. Came across this snowscape - never before seen in Cape Town - a New York street scene for a movie and promptly had a bit of a flashback! Extras all dressed up in thick coats, scarves and beanies 2. Just around the corner, sunny Africa, jeans, shorts and t-shirts- the Madiba Walk / Run - sommer joined them for a couple of kilometres and found the atmosphere most uplifting. 3. Oh, yes, and one more surprise - a taxi driver apologized for cutting me off in Woodstock - and didn't do it again! Warrenlee Posted July 22, 2018 Share Pictures pictures pictures please (You know it is an acceptable excuse for a "rest" stop )Its such a breathtaking ride. The climb is a burner though. No matter how many times you ride it that last 2km puts in the pain. Stopped for pancakes at the Old Tolhuis on the way down which is now open on Sat morning. A pancake and coffee never tasted so good! DJR, BenReaper, henningvr and 6 others
