Most ebikes don't have their max wattage displayed on the motor casing like a motor vehicle 👍 Just don't finish faster than the "max permissible e-bike time". Note new in 2026 is that there is a minimum e-bike time for each timing section, so you can't go fast then wait 1km from the end for your allowed finishing time. Most important, be VERY POLITE, wait for a clear gap and don't shout when passing us Hamish cyclists up Smitswinkel and Chappies etc. Otherwise the combined Karma of 1000's of suffering back markers will descend upon your tyres or cause you premature battery failure. Just ride safely .... and that has nothing to do about the bike ... love2fly, Scary Rider, SilverRider and 1 other 4

CTLonewolf Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Has anyone received seeding or have they lied to us. Less than 3 weeks away. Can't wait for a relaxed day out on the bike.

ChrisF Posted February 17 Posted February 17 9 minutes ago, Dexter-morgan said: Its my first time doing this, is 6:42 a good starting time? As an e-biker I always start after 7.00. My first event I started in the last group. My 3rd event I dropped back to start with a charity group .... The "traffic" is significantly better than the later groups .... I am again supporting the I-Love-Boobies charity, but not drppoing back again .... traffic at the back is something else ... Your start should be good for a nice ride. Just be alert for the odd racer starting later and blasting up the groups .... not many events prepare you for 25 000 riders ... NOTHING can prepare you for the VIBE !! People all along the route people are chearing you on .... It is such an awesome day out. Charles71, SilverRider and Alliesmeister 3

Time wise 1E is usually just outside of sub-3h, unless w have very good weather; on the other hand you have a bit more light by then, compared to $, @, etc ChrisF 1
Shebeen Posted February 17 Posted February 17 Did the cycle your management get outsourced? To an international company too nogal? Bottom of my seeding email These guys came out of seemingly nowhere to hold the world trail champs on Tmnp next year https://www.golazo.com/news/golazo-south-africa-launches-and-will-organize-the-2027-world-trail-running-championships-in-cape-town/

Bottom of my seeding email More likely that cycle tour management has branched out into trail running....check that address on Google Maps, it's the Cycle Tour Org offices.
