One of them was this guy who came on here and said Everesting was a piece of piss and he was going to klap the record because it was achieveable and he was the oke to do it because special ninja stripes or something.

I think the first thread might have gone too far and got squashed - this was his second attempt, he got halfway it seems

 

He was right about the record, but it just wasn't him that got it. Think a retired contador was there first and then it got consecutively smashed for a good year.

Leaving out the silly hyperbole. Why post it on this thread where there is absolutely no relevance to the discussion and topic at hand? 

It detracts from a wholly serious issue, rather than posting on a thread that is actually relevant, like Dopers Suck.

Yes thank you, point taken.  I knew there must be some better thread, simply couldn't think of one at the time.  It really was intended to be no more than random silliness on my part to hopefully provoke funny responses from witty okes and women here.  And Shebeen did it, spectacularly tangential and hilarious he was and is.
