I came across a very suspicious individual this morning on the short Kirstenbosch xc trail that runs between Rhodes Drive and Hohenort.

I was climbing the single track heading up to Rhodes Drive when I saw someone hiding in the thick bush a few meters ahead of me (just passed the bridge). As he saw that I had seen him he bolted back into the bush - it was highly suspicious and I turned around and sprinted out of there.

Morning All. Hearing reports of 3 cyclists hit by same truck in 3 diff locations between kalk Bay and Lakeside. Hit and run. Reg number taken and given to SAPS. Details still vague my side. Will try find out more..

Attempted hit this morning around 09h50. 2 x suspects 1 x white shirt...1 x red cap.....sus 1 crossed rd with knife in hand and attempted to grab last rider, thankfully we were aware and were able to react in time. This is the same guys with multiple attemps.....be aware be safe

They were 3, I was hit maybe 10 minutes before you. At the same spot, then a guy hit the one suspect with a Nissan Champ.

Hi Andreas, yes the bike was hit by a car he tried to stop the thieves unfortunately that cost me my bike. And sorry for clarity was not a stab wound that is from the fall when the pulled me from my bike at speed.

Oh no, sorry to hear🤪🙈 we actually turned around and invited them for a "chat" but they ran away...cowards😡 there were definately only 2 when we were attacked, 3rd guy might have been nursing his injuries by then as a result of the bakkie hit😉 glad youre alive🙏🙏🙏 sorry about the bike but that can at least be replaced🤪👍
