When puncturing always check what caused it. Many times i've been on group rides only to have some guy puncture repeatedly due to foreign object still in tyre.

The shoe with the "L" goes on left foot, and the shoe with the "R" goes on right foot.

 

Then again, if you get that wrong, you should be in special school, not out on the road riding your bike....
