Eldron....

I also had that exact same thought......

Here I am.....a mediocre racing sub-vet at best.....now you see this stuff.....you see they INJECT it in HORSES to go faster.

Sure.....this seems like a good idea.....lets stick a (@*$ needle in my ass with this stuff so that I can win the Argus and become famous.

Sometimes I wonder about the human race..........

Hung like a horse might be another (not so hidden) advantage.  Just for those that needs that extra inch or two...

Would you say breaking rules is immoral?

*Help [emoji15] should it be "is" or "are"?!

Immoral - Really. If it was against the rules, why was there no sanction?

Because rules are subjective. Which is a problem. Point is, people will push the rules. And break them. Just to win. The stories from sport and life are crazy. The inches are all around us :)

It has been used successfully in horse- and greyhound racing for the past decade.

So has equipoise, Stanozolol (winstrol) almost all testosterone esters you can think of, growth hormone etc.

Doesn't make it safe/legal/ethical

My only question is why?

Ego? Vanity? Prize money?

Why the fark would you stick something in your body that you have no clue about in the hopes that you'll ride faster?

If it's to beat your mates you're a twat.

If it's to win prize money you're a corrupt twat.

If it's just to get a faster 94.7 time you're a stupid twat.

Fork me. I can't actually believe this is even being debated.

The male ego

A fragile thing

Yet very powerful

Threads like this make me feel so hopeless.

Valid point. Guess the real interesting thing would be those that watch the thread, don't comment, follow silently and then when they gathered enough info, win the next race.....
