I imagine:

His inclusion in the Giro was based on strong form in the Ardennes classics 

Now for rest, detraining, reset, and slowly turning the focus on the Vuelta and/or World Champs

He signed with the pink team for another few seasons. A TdF star is inevitable.

He's still young, I would guess they will see where he goes from here but figure a tilt at TdF '24 would be on the whiteboard.

the book of irish mtb legends is probably not that thick , learn more about him here (spoiler - he's about as Irish as CJ Stander)
