Not enough meters climbing on mine - told me to start riding and climbing before I come back.
Great idea - where are you based in Jhb. I'm in westrand. I would suggest that we don't exclude road cycling as well as a lot of us do both.
Hi All, - From The Meatblock wishing you all a blessed Christmas and a great new year. Looking forward to see the results and progress on the next two Mondays.
Great I am watching with interest
As a Capie, WHAT ABOUT ME!!!? I love meat...
*wait. What?
We can always arrange to send you some decent biltong and droewors, replacing the fresh meat.
If you are participating and have already posted your weight, post your weight each Monday morning and the winner with bragging rights (and if I can find a sponsor) a small prize will be the person who has lost the greatest % bodyweight by Monday 4 January 2016.
Golf rules: you score yourself and would not even think of cheating

Eddy I agree with your proposal with a few amendmends:
1. Entries to the competition will close 15 December 2015
2. All entrants to post there weight and maybe a photo before 15 Dec
3. All entrants to post there weight every Monday
4. Somebody to put this on a spreadsheet so that we can trace weekly progress
5. I will change the closing date to 31 January 2016
6. Participants to publish what they did to loose weight at the end to benefit others
6. Add any rules that I have left out.
We will sponsor a Meat Hamper to the value of R500 to the winner (must collect at our shop in Randburg)
Thanks Shaper
"- Upgrading the software is easy, download it to your laptop, plug in the charger unit between the computer and the unit and follow the instructions. The mtb DI2 is a bit more involved. Play around with it the etube software is very user friendly"
Help me here - I assume that you have the later version of DI2 with the internal battery and the charging that's done via the front control unit. How do I do this firmware upgrade on the older version with an external battery - I assume I need a special cable.
We usually plan for a 15-18 hour ride. You are welcome to send me a pm if you have any questions or need advise. I have a sort of general 'planning' mail I send to my team each here with loads of info which I can pm to you as well...if you understand Afrikaans
Jy kan asb vir my ook die Pm stuur as jy nie omgee nie - dankie
We entered at 8:07 yesterday and already was no 120. Great to be in - now training must start.
Sorry to hear about your loss - We were also parked in that area and the way the so called carguard (Security) followed us from the entrance to our car and hang around looking exactly what we do made me feel uncomfortable. I then took our bikes off the Thule and load them inside the car and locked. The moment we did that he left. Don't ever trust this so-called event security people.
HaHa well spotted - They are actualy Brokers, that's AON and very good ones as well. as far as I know they use mainly Santam and Old Mutual as underwriters. I am not associated or involved just a satisfied customer. Now that's a good Broker...
A few years back I had a similar claim with AON. I was quite happy to get the frame repaired and resprayed as the crack really was nothing serious. They however insisted to replace the frame in order to avoid any future liability should the frame break.
Thanks Gummi I should have mentioned our downhill guys as well. Greg was awesome - can 2 sec be that long
Our ladies team currently participating in Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche in France are really making us proud. During the first 6 stages team members were consistently under the top ten and yesterdays stage was won by Anli Kachelhoffer. It's great what the womens commission are doing for the ladies - thanks Lisa - just a pity that this is not a big splash on the news as it should be.
If you want I have some pants and shirts available that's now too big for me - seeing that you are looking at an XL frame - that you can have
I have this Bianchi not sure of the model to sell. I finished the build with an old Suntour groupset excluding wheels and BB. Anybody that can give me an estimate on the value. Frame was cleaned of all old paint and whole frame was I think nickel plated. Then resprayed, decals added and clearcoated. Will post some pictures of current status later.
PM me and I will put you in touch with an excellent mechanic that's just starting up his workshop
A bit of a highjack but does anyone use the live tracking feature on the 810. If you do how does it impact on the battery life of your telephone that is the real communicator to the tracker.
I stopped reading after page 2 - Soooo afraid to get infected by you lot
Was a great event. I agree that the last 10 sucked but apparently that was due to a local farmer given short notice that his land is not available and organisers had to improvise to get the distance close to the advertised 80km

I've being using a Tacx Virtual trainer with TACX Trainer software for the last 5 years. I got used to its software issues and lived with it. Now my Tacx system (trainer, computer etc) was toasted by lightning and I need to replace.
Can the experts assist - which is the best indoor system with virtual routes, videos and interactive training available.
I looked at Tacx, CycleOps sofar
