What is happening at Haas? Are they one of the teams who had written off 2020 to jump into 2021 and then it got moved to 2022?

How is Grojean still there, does he have something over Gunther?

Alfa Romeo, good to see Kimi not giving an inch to Ferrari, also feel that his team mate is a little hit and miss.

The pink Mercedes, where has their straight line speed gone?

Grosjean is out and The Hulk is in, pretty sure I read that over the weekend. Also talk of getting rid of KMag. I do think both those drivers are overrated.

Back to F1 in general, read a story where Lewis is saying he agrees that F1 is boring but its the bosses who must do something.

I disagree, surely as the top dog you have a big say? "Look guys, I am winning all these races, and breaking all these records but the racing is a joke. Let's sort it out"

Surely that's something he could do, or is it more lip service????

There is nothing for him to gain out of making racing more interesting. He has too much to say off track to worry about close racing.

To be honest, in the current political climate it is favourable to the F1 brand to have a person of colour dominating so they will be in no hurry to end it. Which is sad for the sport in general.

If anybody wishes to see that as a racist comment, good on you.

Williams family stepping down after Italian GP. That's a team I would love to see challenging the front runners.

I saw an article where Vettel has just bought Mansells old Williams.  Must be so cool having the resources (and the skill) to own an old F1 car.  I wonder if he will take it for blasts around the track.

If he does, he's probably going to wish he had that car instead of the London Bus he drives now.

LOL. Just hope he is the only one on the track so he doesn't have to go wheel to wheel with anyone and spin out.

But that is seriously cool. Wonder what else he(and other F1 drivers) have in their private garages.

I liked your post up to the point where you included Aquafresh Max in your dream team. His father was a crash bandicoot and so is he. The frog also dont excite me, tbh all these snowflake youngsters get on my piston.

My heart is with the red team. Pity they dont have drivers or a car this year. Putting all my hope on Schummi junior. Other than that, i cant get myself to watch this season. Luckily there’s a cycling race on.

There's still only 1 team in most of our hearts and we can trash them as much as we like , but as soon as that little horse starts bolting again one day, we’re right back in. It’s so sad that we hacking with the back trackers right now, and Seb seems to have lost it, but Ferrari will be back . Dream combo for me would be Charles and Max , in cars that can race

Yes, i know, hence i dont like him (the frog)

Time will tell whether he is overrated or not. I dont follow the f2 scene very closely. I like him because he has the correct surname ????

One of the drivers for the "red team " also falls under the "youngsters" ?

Mick is arguably one of the most over rated drivers in formula 2

Its difficult for me, as im sure there are others who feel the same, to get excited about f1 the last couple of years. Having grown up with Senna (a god in our household), Prost, Mansell, Berger and then later on Schumacher, Montoya, Coulthard, Villeneuve, Hakkinen, Alonso etc. These guys fought tooth and nail and the championships were never as boring as it has been for the last 3-5 years.

Yes at 41 im probably sounding like an old fart. I dont consider everything new to be “not like it was in the old days”, take MotoGP for example, that sport currently is in a magnificent space. But f1 has turned into a circus, its written about all over. Maybe they need Bernie back, i dont know.

Anyways, no punches thrown. Just me sharing my view. Just like y’all ????????

Sidenote:

Michael Schumacher came into a struggling Ferarri team and built a super team. He was dominant once everything came together, and some might say it was as boring as watching the Cornrow win every week. But i dont agree. Schummi was obnoxious and he made no bones about it. He would do anything to win and he made it known. And the point is HE built that Ferarri team up to be what it was. And to be honest, even the times he won his titles it wasnt as one-sided as it has been for the recent past. And he didnt pretend to be PC in the public eye whilst being a crybaby behind the garage door.

I dont like Hamilton. I dont care for the records he breaks because he is up against a very week grid and he gets away with too much because “BLM” and god help us if he gets a wrap on the fingers. Not to mention the very one-sided Sky commentary team. Lord when that pretty boy Rosberg comes on I almost feel like taking a dump on my tv screen...
