My fist car was a Brazilian import Fleetline Kombi, split windscreen, hinged door. Bought it from my girlfriend's father for R800 in 1986. Sold it in 1988 for 4k, to buy something more "reliable", a Ford Laser. Yes everytime I see one, I want to drive nails through my kneecaps...
