The moon is flat, why would that bike need a Rohloff?

There's a thread about the Earth being flat, why don't you start a thread about the Moon being flat? [emoji106]

...and how that relates to the gear ratios required, and tyre pressure, and whether the bicycle actually went there in the first place...

Who remembers this?

 

I remember the original cover, I actually still have the copy. When they tracked her down again it was amazing to see the toll of years of hardship. One of a VERY select group to appear on the cover of NG twice!

 

Then her arrest in Pakistan. And now the Afgan government gives her a house. Fascinating story.
