Picked up a 2016 Specialized Roubaix off eBay for a good deal  :thumbup:

My first venture from MTB to road bike.

Also picked up a set of white Specialized Comp shoes for a good price. Would prefer black but couldn't say no to the price. I am possibly regretting that purchase...

Also picked up a MET Rivale Qhubeka (Large) online only to realise my pip is a medium (I thought my MTB helmet was a large for some reason). It's here and brand new if anyone is interested.

Here's to riding without baggies  :eek:

Bike looks rad. Lot's of those on the road.

Those shoes look good. Don't worry about white. Loud shoes on the road are good. Just keep them clean.

And don't try to be a "mountain biker on the road". I tried that. The roadies won't think you're cool. They'll think you are a twerp. Just go with the lycra.

Think it works out along these lines.

Total Price = ((Item price + duty + 10%) x 14%) + (item + duty)

Or

TP = (Item price + duty) x 1.154

So for a full bike it's (cost + 15%) x (vat + 10%) = (cost x 1.15) x (14% x 1.1)

yes

Wonder what would happen if something like this was included in the SONA speech?  :ph34r:
