Last week TSS 1003 IF 0.85

Sani Trail TSS 893

Solid stuff !!

my @ss has been soo lazy, barely getting to 450 / week the last 6-8 weeks. TSB swinging the wrong way. But being "fresh" has helped to record a few new peaks across the range, so something good coming out.

This topic has been dead and quite for a while...me included.

havent been hitting the numbers that I should have been hitting, but have some proper goals lined up and will have to stay focused. this week has been a dud. will ride some recovery this weekend and onto next week, business as usual.

My TSS for Sani was 970.  The slower you are the higher the score

Hope you taking it easy this week.

My tss has been hovering around 450-500 for the last 2 weeks and will stay there for the next 3 as I head into exam season. Lots of shorter rides at way harder intensity though.

Hoping I can maintain my current fitness and just work on the endurance I may have lost with the shorter rides when I get back to proper training.

Busy with a nice trying-to-get-fit block:

3 weeks ago: 526 TSS and 0.8 IF

2 weeks ago: 574 TSS and 0.8 IF

Last week: 675 TSS and 0.8 IF

This week (done & planned): 626 TSS and 0.8 IF

Next week I will recover somewhat with an approximate 450 TSS.

I'm sure your endurance wouldnt take much of a nock if you just keep doing intervals.

Just dont lay off completely. All systems will shut down.

All the best & keep posting.

Well done. How do you get it so perfect? ????

Great block work.

My trend has been 3 weeks great then suppose to go easy a week...then it rolls into 2 easy weeks.

Thanks [emoji106]

You mean the "perfect" intensity of 0.8? Not really planned. Includes a variety of rides, including races, recovery rides, tempo, threshold and other.

Try to have a longer term plan to try and motivate you. Take a race in a few months and work out a few blocks backwards.

Suffer now in training! And you will still suffer later in racing [emoji23]

Thanks, and yes, Indeed I am!

If you guys are interested in upping your weekly TSS you should really consider something like a triathlon-style training program.  Cross-training just provides so much more opportunity to increase overall fitness, especially swimming.  Since the start of 2015 to date I have averaged a weekly TSS of 815 at an IF of 0.75.

Sometimes a picha can say a thousand words... quality over quantity.

  • A - L'Etape is cancelled
  • B - Retrenchment notice received
  • C - Easter weekend

New job and a wet weekend last week = less riding... :(
