I'm taking a holiday without the bike for 3 nights so giving it a skip this year

More rewarding goal will be to pass 15000km ridden by year end, currently just over 500km short.

I have been resting up since August and ensuring that I am not skimping on taking in suffient nutrition.

 

Should be in optimum condition to kick off by tomorrow.

I'm in the only problem is, my riding in generally unplanned, I'm also still working this week & next week but luckily off on the public holidays & weekends.

I notice it's becoming more a challenge of how quickly one can do 500 for many and I suppose consequently how many more than the required one can do ... As long as it keeps people riding it's all good!

All wrapped up and I didnt even need to ride today. Might take a recovery spin tomorrow just to flush out any lactic acid remaining in the legs from Sundays 240km's to Ceres and back to Cape Town.
