Next thing people will start winning races on Raleigh's.

I think you should APOLOGISE to Raleigh for that comment - they are a fine and reputable manufacturer of bikes.

And yes - I do own a Raleigh - thanks to a great distributor who gave me a new frame after hitting a car - free... and a phone call to say glad I was ok.

Now show me that level of support from Pinarello/Specialised/Cannondale...

Nope, both pages are gone with the wind, like the cowards they appear to be for refusing to answer the damning allegations against them.

Interesting when a business starts to limit its exposure to social media by shutting down its facebook page, twitter is still there but not very active and no followers

Puleez! If our wives read this they'd know what we spend on cycling. We are far too pussy whipped to let them near here.

I think all the hubbers in the area should go and act like they are interested in a Pinarello, but have their phones recording the conversation. Let them go through the whole sales pitch and at the end ask them about the allegations that they are selling counterfeit goods.

Post recordings here.

wtf are you on about? like i said its been established that the bike is fake.

duh.

maybe there is a reason the LBS argues that - its trying to hide behind the fact that he knew it was a grey... just playing devil's advocate here... am not bashing the OP at all.

neither did I. but i accept that these are the toyota corollas of bicycles... probably not really worth counterfeiting them anyway - but a 90k Pina?

must have missed it... my bad... its a long thread.. but no answer on it right?

As i said not bashing the OP at all. Nor gray imports. I mean we all love a good bargain. Selling some something which its clearly not is truly machiavellian.

Was merely wondering if the CPA offers any sort of protection regarding grays?

And that answers that. ta GoLefty!!

Never mind popcorn, after that comment I needed to scrape birthday cake off the screen....top entertainment.

Bang, bang, BANG on. Andrew has gone as far as to share correspondence with Pinarello and ASG AND a photo of his Chinarello, to get dumped on by 'TheV' and others. This is a man who won't resell the Chinarello out of principle so probably doesn't feel the 91k hole in his pocket as much as he feels the righteous ire of being ripped off.

Give that man a Bells

Should we mail this to Carte Blanche?

As the OP has said he has the info from more than one person that got swindled.
