We've said it time and time again it is their responsibility to know what the rules are.

And authorities acting on a tip off means only 1 thing that people are obviously suspicious of him.. which bring us back to his performance in the last world cup which would've helped his UCI ranking whole lot ahead of world's and start position.

He can be bloody glad he did withdraw because had greg not been able to race....he would've received a couple smacks.

And plus.. who the hell keeps syringes. .unless you are diabetic there would be no reason to keep it.. and the excuse that it's for lancing saddles sores ag I am calling BS on that.. when I read that I immediately went.. ag not the old saddle sore excuse again.

Sudden surge in performance then gets caught with syringes and comes up with this bs excuse.

Did he learn nothing from lance? Just buy tugboat's book and learn how to dope without getting caught

I won't even attempt this ever myself! Will it not result in a cist forming?

Never mind a cyst. Not sure about dangling a needle around below decks trying to find a blister to stab, with visibility of zero. Not sure that's recommended DIY.

I will reserve my right to remain a skeptic.

At the SA Champs he also came back from gruelling racing in Europe, to suddenly perform better than athletes who rested well and have beaten him before. And then he has a stand out performance out of nowhere at the WC, and then gets caught with syringes. Now he wants to play the naive and saddle sores cards?

Nee meneer.

So I'm trying to visualise looking for a saddle sore, in a mirror, trying to coordinate left and right movements.

Nee man.

You could have come up with a better explanation. Like filling gel capsules with liquid bicarb.

So, surely Spanish authorities find syringe, immediately anti doping is contacted and he's tested immediately...? Those results let us/whom it may concern know that he has or hasn't been klapping the sous...? No sous, impose whatever the sanction is for having the syringe, find sous, then drag him through the schmidt...?

This is a bit like them finding a pack of Rizla in his bag, then being labelled Cheech or Chong, without a trace of a canabanoid in his system...

Anyone mention here yet what the sanction is for possession of a syringe...?
