My latest addition to the Zwift Ecosystem. Must say, it keeps you focused and allows some cheeky moves. This is the smart one with Bluetooth steering integration.

Out of interest, how much was it?

As @shaper showed for SA. I’m in Dubai, they $99 / 365 AED over here. Which is R1650. So with a bit of shipping and what not, R1999 seems fair.

Not cheap but not bad IMO. Considering I spend almost 6 months of the year indoor riding (summer oven) over here I would have spent that on mid-ride coffee’s anyway :-)

Noob question: when selecting your race category, A - D, where it shows you levels of w/kg, is that based off your FTP, or 5 min avg, or what?

HI Chris, I believe it is average for the race duration. FTP is based on an hour duration, while some races can be shorter or longer.

I select based on average and normally finish in the top half of the group (I am mostly in low group.

This looks pretty cool, you got space on your team?

We probably will hey.  We have two teams - all with TTT novices.  Some enjoyed it last night and some probably got really frustrated.

If you are on ZwiftPower PM me your name and I will let you know how it works

It's based on your FTP. Races are often shorter than an hour so the average w/kg may be slightly higher than stated but longer races tend to be bang on in terms of w/kg.

Take Andymann up on the offer to sort ZwiftPower out. It's a much more reliable and transparent way to see your race results and to categorise yourself correctly

I might be the only one that like figures and like to see my fitness progress.

Currently if I ride on Zwift, it will automatically upload ride to Garmin Connect & Strava.

But.....to get training stats and effect on Garmin Connect, you will need to do everything through Garmin device, but when it gets uploaded after the ride, elevation is not included.

Anyway around this or can anyone help?

Meneer - Long time!

I only use the Zwift auto upload to Garmin Connect and Strava. This upload includes the elevation in Garmin Connect but not the training effect. See here why it doesn't include training effect. Plus it's a mission if you have to then also sync the actual Garmin Device and then delete the duplicate workout on Strava and Garmin Connect.

I'd suggest that you add the Elevate plugin for Chrome to get all fitness trends, training effect etc

or you can use the locally made intervals.icu site

Does anyone have feedback on running Zwift on the new Galaxy S20 FE?

*According to GSM website the FE does not have Ant+

You can edit activity in Garmin after uploading. Add the elevation gain and loss if you want.
