DJR Posted September 24, 2019 Share Did a rack of springbok in the Weber to celebrate my heritage today - very lean, but juicy and tender with a taste of Karoo - added a nice Chenin Blanc and some salad greenery for a magical meal! Robbie Stewart Posted September 24, 2019 Share So whats the correct etiquette when this lady wants to share your lamb chops?IMG_2355.jpg ek BEK@K my!!! Maar dis wat jy kry as jy "braai" op gas. Gas is iemand wat jy nooi na 'n braai toe, nie waarop jy braai nie. Ed-Zulu, Plentipotential, geomark and 3 others
Robbie Stewart Posted September 24, 2019 Share I did a rib-eye. Enjoyed a green salad and braai-broodjie with it. For some moisture, I combined it with a Tanqueray and tonic. Simple, but tasty. Long Wheel Base and Hairy

WeekendWarrior80 Posted October 13, 2019 Share Went to the local farmers market yesterday and came across this.Biltong Kebabs. I thought why not, let's try something different. The person at the stall shop gave me a sample of their Biltong Steak, and to say it tasted good is an understatement. I would never have thought that you can braai biltong. Might fire up our picnic braai late this afternoon and see how it turns out. BigDL

WeekendWarrior80 Posted November 8, 2019 Share Verdict? And........????It didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would. I had to phone the person who sells the Biltong Steak and Biltong Kebabs to ask how to braai those kebabs. Two minutes over the coals, turning the kebabs every few seconds. It was okay. WeekendWarrior80 Posted November 8, 2019 Share So not great then??I wouldn't say it turned out the greatest, probably due to the fact that when it comes to kebabs I'm more used to braaing pork or chicken kebabs. BigDL
