Saddle Bags on Road Bikes: cool or uncool?

If you dont want to use a saddlebag. I have a alternative. Long piece of velcro and attach your tube,bomb,etc with some eectrical tape and then just attach to your saddle. Small and still aero

but if you want to fit a tube plus tools in you'll have to get a tubilo tube.

 

We are using this on Maritz's bike, then again he only carries a tube ... the rest of the garage is in my saddle bag ....

hahaha, I've got the garage in there but no tube.

First two years I had a BIG BAG .... two spare tubes and all the tools ....

 

Then got a spare tube bag for him, and the SpeedSleeve for my bike.

 

A friend got a new Spark last week, thus the search for a SpeedSleeve .... but if we can get stock I am certainly buying some spares ...
