Cant find my results :/ Will give it a bit of time and see if they show up

can’t find mine either, sure it just a minor glitch .

I also cant find my result. Seems to also be a problem with B Batch. No ways only 175 riders finished from B batch.

I didn't hear a beep when crossing the finish line, so only have a time up to the Spotter Point on their mobile app.

I've already created a query by logging into my profile, then looking for the sub-heading "My time doesn't show on the results".

Started at 09H00 with hectic flu and loaded with meds, was aiming for 03H30, but with the crazy heat and flu I just managed a sub-4. Had to stop at every WP for water and voltaren.

Garmin read 40C temp at finish, car read 42C.

Overall a great race, very well organised, loved the new route - climbs were tough but not too bad.

This was my first road race - now to work on my seeding and get an earlier (cooler!) start next year.

Furbz and his group passed me in Douglasdale, on their second lap - respect!

This is NOT very smart...

BRANDON BRANDON BRANDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My buddy solos for over 20km to take the race. So proud of him, been a long time waiting. Bad luck with crashes last year and a stint in Europe but finally he gets his big win.

This pic was taken 2 years ago when we raced in the same team. That's me giving the thumbs up behind Brandon.

Anyone in VA that can explain why the batch's time are on average slower than VB and VC?

Lots of the stronger guys that was in VA last year was in VB this year at CC. This definitely contributed to the faster pace in VB.

I see the time on the Racetec website are a bit "faster" than their app was showing yesterday.

Does anybody know where the time started ?

Normally it starts as the gun goes off but then there was the timing mat after the "neutral" zone.

The Racetec App was 1min faster than my Garmin, Ractec website is 3min faster than my Garmin.

Normally my Garmin time is between 30-60 seconds slower than the Racetec time.

from what I can gather based on my Garmin time vs Racetec time is that they have taken the time from after the neutral zone

VC group started like it was a mountain bike race heading for single track. I got spat out the back before Cedar. I guess the VA group was a bit more civilised.

yep.

its racing. the other point i will put right at the bottom of this post.

keep in mind we are not riding for time but for position.

the first 30km we were either going 300% or 50%. bleeding or dawdling. i can only comment on the first 30km because that is when i lost touch with the front group of VA.

this takes the sting out a legs and shells tons of riders who cannot maintain the intensity.

2nd reason.

i suspect the really good the 30+ riders (Nolan Hoffman) rode with the elites.

Thanks, I thought that was the case.

I presumed that there was some sort of neutralizing for the VA guys, as it would've been very hard for the commissaire to prevent leaching onto the faster VB groups..

Feeling better after a 2 hour nap and some muti.

Heart rate still higher than normal so will drop back and ride with mates.

Woke up Sunday feeling much better but HR still higher than normal.

Decided to start in C and see what happens.

Puncture before the start and I was back to riding with friends in I.

We decided to stick together and see if we can get close to 3h00, two of the guys battled with the early climbing so we backed off completely.

Picked up the pace as we hit the M1 and stayed together all the way to the finish

Finished in 3h20.

Even though we really took it easy for the majority of the ride my ave HR was 175

For my sins I had a small crash on the way back to Monte Casino where we parked.

Fat roastie on my leg, ass and arm for my sins.

This was my post in another thread from 11 October:

I'm predicting a 2:26 winning time... let's see how close they come.

Then a 2:14 winning time for 947 - so people have a benchmark for the two events.

2:26 was the Carnival City Macsteel National Classic - they did 2:25:56

2:14 for the 947 - 2:15:26 for yesterday's winner.

If you did the CCMNC, how did your time compare between these two events?

I think the reversed route is much better. It some seemed safer as well?

I agree. The route felt safer and being in a group in the first 50km did not really matter that much .The only time i was in a group was on the highway and i managed 3h10min .Respect to all the para cyclists and their helpers .You guys inspire me ! I got beaten by a one legged rider ,a guy on a green surly single speed ,a rider on a GT 750 downhill rig and a girl

You need to put your guessing skills to better use!

My times:

CCMNC - 2:45:45

947 - 2:28:16

Both in A batch
