unexpectedly big drop over the weekend, I reckon riding both days over the weekend definitely helped, and then not stuffing my face with unhealthy food after the rides. I'm still up from where I started at the beginning of the year, but the trend is at least now moving in the right direction, I just hope I can keep it up over the winter.

I got my walking stuff ready last night...off all the medication...arms are still feeling a bit tender ...the scabs are holding on for dear life...so tempted to just pull them off...this morning i woke up and just couldnt get my dressed...rolled over and canned the walk.

wanted to go ride this weekend...it seems my brass balls have gone soft...i am allowing myself to think too much about what could go wrong...at least the weight is hanging in there for now...thought i would be over 110 by now...decided to weigh myself this morning...106 is better than i expected.

Eish, ek het die appelkar omgegooi! Got on the scale this morning, the three weeks of binge eating this holidays got my back to 97.5kg from 93.5kg!! Still a total net loss of 27.6kg since June 2017. Still 10.5kg down from the start of October 2018 when I started calorie counting. Today I'm getting back on the calorie counting horse and daily training!

2018 was a good year for me, I reached my weight goal, my 5000km cycling goal, and my 85 000m elevation gain goal.

My goals for 2019:

6000km cycling

100 000m elevation gain

500km running

Target weight = 80kg.

Mini Targets:

90kg by 09 March (My sister's wedding)

85kg by 22 September (Karoo 2 Coast)

80kg by 13 December (Start of holidays)

I got a few PM's over the holidays from guys interested in how I was eating and training to drop 10kg in two months at the end of last year. I kept track of everything and will post it sommer here when I get time to summarize it all in one place.

Good luck to everyone this year!!

I think I spaced my mini targets too far apart..

Since hitting the 90kg mini target at the start of March, I have been hovering between 90 and 92kg(Currently on 91kg) and my effort has not been on point as it has been before then.

I am now adjusting my second mini target of 85kg to 20 July (Around the Pot weekend) instead of 22 September (K2C weekend).

Hopefully this gets me motivated to start taking this a bit more seriously again.

I find setting my goals a  with closer gaps more achievable and then stay more motivated when i attain them or even better beat them . . 5kg drops in two months or so is a big ask . Good luck going forward i know its hard but worth it when it happens .
