Looking at my whole race now, From camels rock, my HR dropped to below 100 till the end with the odd jump to just over 100. Think the battery died or something because it was "normal" up until then.I was definitely not at 57, more like 157.

For now sanity prevails. What I don;t understand is why the need for constant re-invention of the Cycletour?Its is what it is. It will forever be known as the Argus Cycle Tour and both City of Cape Town and Argus Newspaper should just get over it.Call it The Argus Cycle tour even if the The Argus is no longer involved. get new sponsors. the World Series isn;t sponsored by The World Newspaper anylong er but the name has stuck. Don't mess with a winning name and brand, just roll with it. Got that off my chest,.. next one:FTLOG don;t cancel the event under any circumstances. Since CoCT got involved its become a platform for protest action. The City of Cape Town is still something I can be proud of and associate with, warts and all. The Argus (newspaper) now has only warts with no more "and all" left!

I don't think that protest action in Masi/OV that year was that deliberate in targetting CoCT.The plan B was just to divert from them, so they didn't get much airtime. route is also easy to divert from IY hence why no one really talks about it, it's not likely to be an issue

As the kid from shebeens video said - keep on going up the hillEk is in die K@k then, last week I did 25000th ish damn.Problematic I would say.
