No, not at this stage.

 

For the purposes of protecting the community from potential scams or bad deals we'd rather users report the suspicious content for review/removal.

 

While comments were helpful in this area, the best solution is to remove the content and ban the user. Very often we found numerous comments on a dodgy ad but had no reports and as a result a problematic ad was live for hours or even days before we were alerted to it.

 

We will explore an idea to empower a limited group of users aka "classifieds moderators" to flag an advert for review. The thinking would be to allow such users to temporarily remove an advert from listings pending review by our team in certain circumstances. But, we need to fine tune the thinking and execution of this.

Not reporting scammers then and now, don't think it's going to change. I think the benefits of having comments is higher than the cons. Unless of course it's "IT" limitations.

 

Why do i have to engage an uneducated seller via pm rather than in the comments. Case in point items sold 3x 4x the price where the seller has no idea.

My reasons were more from a poorly advertised product like i have seen a few of over last week or so...

 

Now I, just like other interested buyers needs to PM the seller over the same questions or information regarding their product. The comment section woulda dealt with this.

Just came here to ask one more time if you can have a Road Category in the Classifieds ...just road stuff...all the road stuff..wheels..gruppos..bikes...frames...etc..when browsing ..its a schlep to go from one category to another...and NO ..I dont want to view all categories together.. I've NO interest in MTB..etc..if not for whatever reason..then I'll call it a day ..I can take only so much of expats posting k@k about a country they have left..????

Well I msgd someone a total of 3 times. Not even a response. Dont even know if the seller read the msg as that feature is no longer. I wont pass a rating, but if I knew the msg was read, then I would leave a negative comment.

Why is it with a laptop running windows 10 and chrome I cannot scroll back up a chat message to read what was written earlier yet with android tablet and chrome I can???

 

TBH this chat is inferior to PM's and a right pain!

We have heard you and the others who've requested "All Road/MTB" views. It is in the feature pipeline and should roll out in mid Jan.

I've had a look at the Chat scroll on Chrome 78 & Windows 10. There there is a bug with the scrollbars themselves not displaying correctly, however the scroll function does work using a mouse wheel or keyboard up/down/pageup/pagedown after you click in the chat message area.

You can still do this via the main search bar. Just enter the brand/model name there and hit search. This will search for ads matching that text within the current category and will retain any existing filters, e.g. location, price, wheel size, etc.

But what I've picked up, once I've logged in, if I click on Forums at the top and then all forums it bring up a search.

I then have to go to forums at the tops again and click view all forums to actually view them.

To many steps to get to the forums.

nope, on my computer it does it. on the phone I use Tapatalk so have not noticed it.

I noticed this morning that on the home page of the classifieds the active topics are now on the right hand side. Thanks, a lot quicker and easier for the guys like myself that only visit the classifieds when i'm bored   .
