I've been running my tigre on a 130mm for the better part of the last 2 years, and I think that is the sweet spot. Ridden 2 munga grits, a few marathon races, and a few enduros, and 130mm seems to sit nicely. 140mm is just a bit too slack, and 120mm is a bit short for some of the bigger trail features.

Side note, this is not an XC bike - if you compare it side-by-side to a bike meant to climb, it'll lose. It is also not a downhill bike - if you compare it side-by-side, it will lose.  It is not a marathon bike, nor is it an enduro bike. It is a steel bike, meant to be comfortable and fun, not fast. Jack of all trades, master of none. But that's the beauty of it.

Amen

Please Read the last Paragraph.

However I did not find it comfortable at all, I thought it was a pig to ride.

I know that "You're the Man" and nobody else Knows nuffin about bikes. In the World.

After All you're the Only one who Rode the Argus on a Kids BMX. In the world.

So it's OK for you to share your experience and opinion, but not OK for others?

I didn't even disagree with you but you feel the need to sarcastically attack me without even addressing what I said?

You are the epitome of why Internetting is ridiculous sometimes.

Without being funny, the Specialized Fuse is a crap hardtail trailbike compared to really good ones. The fact that you think it is actually the perfect hardtail trail bike for us shows me that your area of expertise perhaps lies elsewhere.

I'd love to meet you and go and shred some trails with you. Bring your dual suss, I will bring my Steel hardtail. If you can drop me I will take you seriously.

Until then, lets stop playing the man and try to stick to the topic. I am certainly not a foremost expert on bikes, but I have ridden a few really cool bikes and done some really cool stuff on those bikes, 99.999% of them hardtails

I recon I could pick you up and drop you, not very confident I can drop you riding bikes on the trails, especially given my current NON fitness :P

Manufactured but not Designed.

Specialized Sells the Best, Most wanted Bikes across the Range.

Thanks but no thanks.  I got one word for you, overpriced .... And not wanted by me 😊.

There are multiple other brands that is just as good if not better at better pricing.

@Jewbacca it is no secret that you don't even ride.

Also. What WILL you be riding the CTCT on this year?

hahahaha well I did break my elbow last week riding bikes, so he will have to accept my challenge in 6 to 12 weeks when I am able to hold the bars again...

I am yet to decide on CTCT next year. It depends how fit I can get. I did see a guy selling a 1970s raleigh chopper on Marketplace which I'd be keen to add some bar end tassels and dress up like @Hairy in assless leather chaps and open leather waistcoat and pretend it's a Harley

Sorry ... did someone say tassels and assless leather chaps with a open leather waist coat ... throw in a cowboy hat and count me in.

Another fantastic hub thread that's gone to ####, with personal insults, flaming and trolling.

What a shame, as this one was really useful, had helpful informative and some lekker bikeporn.

I'll leave you to it.

Sorry Nonky.

Hopefully the next few comments will be pictures of @TheoG's red rocket and some other Smashable Rapide Tigres to look at (that is an invitation Theo) and clean up the mess

Apologies once again

That cherry red is gorgeous isn't it ... 😊.  If mine doesn't sell soon I'm going to break it up and sell the frame & components individually.  Unfortunately its a large, so wont work for you 😪.
