So i had fun putting together a Top of the line Aurum build the last few days.

Aurum Magma

Sram Red AXS

Zipp 353 wheels

Ritchey Carbon parts

and some chubby 28mm Fusion 5 tires

Build came in at 6.72kgs (ex cages, sealant, and pedals) but includes batteries.

add generous portion of orangeseal sealant and it would still be under 6.8kgs

very happy with the result!

Exactly, almost kind of rude how he lacks evidence for said awesome build! With a teaser in the form of raw numbers.,..

These bikes are really beautiful. Just a simple, elegant design which i love.

Quite pricey though which is unfortunate.

Agreed. I really like the more traditional style, the seat stays running down from the seat post/tob tube area and not half-way down the seat tube. Fork not too over complicated and bulky like the newest trends. Really stylish and elegant.

Honestly mate, as a non-pro cyclist I’d happily sacrifice a few watts if it meant a better looking bike. Case in point the new Oltre. I get that it’s probably super fast but how much benefit is an amateur going to see?

Agreed 100%.

It's not going to get us amateurs a Pro WT contract or even help us to beat our mates to a coffee stop. Realistically still finish outside the top 200 of the August in March anyway. So I'd much rather have a nicer looking bike.

Built this a few months ago. I was really pleasantly surprised how good this bike actually is. Climbs super well and is really responsive.
