Should e-bikes be allowed in Cycle Tour and other Races

E-bikes, welcome at all races - just don't include them in any results.  (If any e-biker gets upset about this I might question your motives for 'competing'.)

If an e-bike rider masquerades as a non-assisted rider, ban them.

My strava is set to private so I'm not on any leaderboards. I got a KOM yesterday on the morning ride so made the ride public just to let the owner of the KOM know it was gone. An hour later I made it private again and gave it back.

I felt like a real Robin Hood!

There is no doubt eBikes are driving the industry forward, but this is irrelevant to the original question to which we responded. Are eBikes considered bicycles and should eBikes be allowed in races. 

Imagine how cool it would be if every one rode an eBike to work. More space on the road, easier to park, less pollution etc. 

Sadly, in SA, how many people actually ride their eBikes to work? They buy them as an easier alternative to cycling recreationally. This comes back to the original question asked
