All the pot entries in classifieds tells you all you need to know about the weather forecast haha

Spare a thought for all the crew that will be out there on Saturday ensuring everything runs as smoothly as possible.

At least the amount of rain has decreased from deluge status to normal rain.

They were awesome last time around too. I remember the high school kids at the last waterpoint the most - i think 10km from the end. I was DONE…mud all the way to my gooch DONE. But their energy under that gazebo in the poring rain helped epic amounts.

My plan is to get to the pont before it begins raining.12pm

Kit up, wet weather gear there and get to the finish in time to change and watch the boks at 5pm.

I assume that final "modder en stront" section will be different!

But like Iron Mike says, "everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face".

Oooo-well ... here's HOPING ....

Cape Town was supposed have nice weather until on Wednesday and Thursday, with rain on Friday and Saturday.

DARK clouds in Bellville at the moment - WEDNESDAY.  And already raining in Stellenbosch.

Let's hope this cold front is way early .....  would be NICE to actually have a nice sunny weekend for a change.

Swellendam certainly can do with the tourism this event brings.

Holding thumbs for a nice event  (despite current forecasts)
