'Dale Posted December 2, 2020 Share Yep! Saw it as I was climbing out If frog's powerful rear legs are trapped, then it's the end of that life as an amphibian.Mama Nature, not pretty, beautiful. Some ignorant homo sapiens would kill the snake to 'rescue' the frog. DJR Posted December 2, 2020 Share Hiding From The Gusts. IMG_1755.jpg Yes, when the Cape Doctor is blowing like it does today, the only place to get away from it is underground I very willingly skipped riding today to do dog training rather and found it difficult to walk in a straight line. ChrisF Posted December 3, 2020 Share Getting bike sandblasted on Tableview beachfront Must be hectic this afternoon ..... Nice stiff little "breeze" in Bellville now ..... I had to WORK to keep my speed going downhill !! Then turning, with the wind from my side I was leaning into the wind to go in a straight line !! Still SO much better than being in a cage .... Never too many bikes Posted December 3, 2020 Share Pretty sure a puff adder. The road between Touws Rivier and Montagu. Near a place called Gecko Game Reserve. The snake just stopped for about 2 minutes while I watched it. Then it moved off. Shorter than a meter but only just.Yep, a puffy. Must have been going somewhere as they are normally curled up in the road. Beautiful little critters and really fast, don't be fooled by the size. Nasty bite! 'Dale Posted December 4, 2020 Share “When the spirits are low, when the day appears dark, when work becomes monotonous, when hope hardly seems worth having, just mount a #bicycle and go out for a spin down the road, without thought on anything but the ride you are taking.” - Arthur Conan Doyle Dusty, DJR, Prince Albert Cycles and 6 others
The Ouzo Posted December 4, 2020 Share Sometimes you need to say “Screw the weather I need to clear my head” and then just go ride. Chadvdw67, TheoG, DJR and 8 others
