The Highveld certainly not the prettiest in winter ..

Gale rolled out of bed part the way through my ride this morning. Luckily she was still cleaning the sleep out of her eyes by the time I got home, so I did not get her full attention.

Took my new shoes for their first spin yesterday, Lake MX241's very comfy but a tad warm, might need to make some ventilation holes 

 

 

Riding on the pavement, walking / cycling path next lake Zug

 

Rest day / Ruhetag tomorrow 

 

Some nice cold mountain water

A few days off...lucky to get leave at all..and time is made for a bike ride and I can relax for once...no real rush..

Time to pause for a few moments...time to plan...time on a bike is beautiful...blessed today..

Gale’s cousin Misty came to visit this morning. Visibility down to just a few meters in places, had to be careful.

Its typical, where ever there's an airport the mist will come. Having grown up right next to the JS / ORT I always wondered if they did a viability study of the area before going ahead with the airport.

Todays ride in the early afternoon heat, made me feel like getting my feet wet like these ducks. Our local stream looked very inviting

Apparently they did and the area it’s built in does not get big weather fluctuations.
