Running some errands .... I always wanted to commute but the job function I had never really allowed for that. I have (very) occasionally used a bike to collect and drop off stuff. Decided to make a concerted effort to only use a bike for short trips where it makes sense. This is, to my mind at least, clearly the best bike for that 😎

my problem with running errands by bike in SA is that store have made no accommodation for bikes, so there is not place to safely leave/lockup your bike. Otherwise I'd be doing plenty more by bike.

Most of the places I go they know me reasonably well so I can sneak the bike in at least by the door where I can see it and they'll keep an eye

I wasn't on the bike, but my gravel crew have a Friday morning "coffee outside" tradition, so I took the dog along and talked bikes and BS.
