Banhoek Padstal is fast turning into our favorite stop.  With 100km in the legs this is a welcome sight .....

Hi Chris; what range do you typically get from your 1st battery, and then your second battery ‘added’, on a steepish ride like this one, meaning what do you estimate your TOTAL theoretical range to be, given that you are fit, and are outputting a lot of your own leg power, etc? Cheers, Chris

I get up to 70km on 500W.h.

I have done 200km with this setup, that also included Franschhoek.

Around here there are no long routes without lots of climbs.  Might be interesting to see what the range would be without all this climbing.

Recce ride for an attempt at a triple (metric) century. Testing a feasible route for road surface and traffic conditions, that involves riding a 5.2 loop many, many times… today was 14.5 laps.

Next up on this route will be a 160km ride, then a 200 before I decide if an out loop is needed.
