Early morning ride. Our normal route next to the railway line on the way back and what a surprise, barbed wire erected over the "2 spoor veldpaadjie" below Seeplaas Restaurant, Tergniet between the restaurant and railway line. And I'm quite sure I know who erected it ????[emoji848][emoji35][emoji54]366a21ea0ceef64e3ecab203ff0a74a5.jpg86c41dea917023281ecc8f5c724dcb77.jpg0561829ca5ebe286e5fc9933b0a4edf8.jpgf4b3463a7839a25f214cf92669b24edc.jpga34ad4a255312af2f45509f480aef84e.jpgfeb8692700c0ebc35e67a2e2ec4204e0.jpg

Fanie is that a chain snake? I've only heard of them, first time that I see one.

Northern Farm with my boys. Youngest took a spectacular fall with notable airtime. Got up, and continued riding. An aspiring climber he is78e26ed88b41b5e91a9dab91ba3776a7.jpgaa3e888969ac1d4a522bf5ddd4d87173.jpg

They have no fear at this age and they make spinning at 200rpm looks so easy

Had a nice long-weekend

Bonfrutti, between Ashton and Swellendam.  Self catering facility, with the option to pop over to their restaurant for any meals.

Farmer explained the roads and options to us, for cycling.  Also many hiking options.

The one option was past the dam, around the koppie, then cycling up the koppie from the North side, then ride the ridge from the one to the next to the next .... The last one reminds of Dorstberg, so I took the road down to the valley before this.

The next day we headed into the opposite direction, and up a different koppie ...
