Bateleur1 Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Friday afternoon commute home. Went home at lunch time to do some homeoffice for the afternoon. Hot day in the sun. Although the temperature was still rising. Here in Beerland the hottest time of the day during this time of the year is more between 15:00 and 16:00 normally. What the Garmin does not show you is the humidity. I sweat like a racehorse polishing my 600 ml on the hour and twenty minute commute home and immediately drank another liter of water as I got home. Did all the passes,Bainskloof,Du Toitskloof,Helshoogte,Franshhoek,Clarens Dr and Chappies.Saw lots of very interesting bikes.Quite a logistics challenge keeping it all together Andrew_Smith, Zatopek, DJR and 2 others 5

Just done a trip to Amsterdam and they have a practical solution where if it goes <40km/h then no helmet required, including scooters, to allow for all those commuters and people doing their daily chores by bike.
