Ispeed_V Posted April 16, 2022 Share The serenity of the Cradle this morning. The weather and the fact that all the part timers have hung up their bikes for winter made for some quite roads. ChrisF Posted April 17, 2022 Share My longest ride to date ... Left home at 11 degrees C. Half way down Bottelary road it was 4 degrees C .... But what a sunrise, as the full moon was setting next to Table Mountain. Stopped at Potbelly for some anti-freeze .... Stiff head wind all the way to Franschoek. Down right scary with the side wind up the pass ...😬 By the time I got to Stellenbosch it was time for a Red Ambulance... Also my first time for racking up more than 200km in 3 days 👍 Stretched@Birth, Trashy, Maknash and 18 others 20
splat Posted April 17, 2022 Share We took advantage of the South Easter (and a lift home) and rode to Langebaan . That R27 is pretty boring and starts to feel dangerous, but awesome when you get into the reserve. Frosty Posted April 18, 2022 Share 81 clicks on Saturday before the rain returned. Another week for me with zero riding, then to get back into it next weekend. Might go for a 5Km leg shuffle in the week, but for now I can pretend to be like Kermit. Pikey, DJR, 'Dale and 1 other 2
