Hero@Hobby Park this morning....

a very rare occasion being photographed and not being the photographer....

Darren's done worked so much magic here

My literal back yard and it's been ok to ride... he's made it amazing to ride.

The blue route  ...it's only 6 odd kms, but there's more fun in those 6 than in many other places' 20!

pictures do it no justice... you must just ride it!!

Great weather + good mates = an awesome club ride this morning. 140km in the legs (just below race pace), out south.

Had a close call with an oncoming car overtaking another on a blind ride (solid line), while we were cruising at close to 50km/h towards this tjop.

Enjoyed a leka relaxed 50 km ride out to Umhlanga this morning...to test my new specialized " saddle" ...butt feels a tad raw...the saddle feels very similar to the giant contact seat.

Awesome day for a ride yesterday. We were riding around Thomas River, mapping out the 20km Trail Run for the end of October. Then did a bit extra as my mates are doing Berg and Bush so needed to put km in the legs. There's no flat rides around here and I was testing my legs on the SS, so took no ride pics, as my tongue was hanging on the ground when I stopped. 900m climbing in 40km....

so here's a pic of the steel dikwiel

Are these taken with your phone?

or a chesty mounted GoPro?

Gopro, no chesty. Its on my list of things to buy. I use the gopro as a point and shoot, the wide angle lens makes taking pics that don't completely suck a bit easier.

That machine must do K2K.

I'm planning to do it on the funtrax recovery bike (that post office bike) and maybe raise some funds for charity.
