Maybe argue he is leveraging the transaction as a form of black mail.. either way if you are feeling intimidated there’s a saps code for that and you can open a case of intimidation.. just an arrow in your quiver if you needed..

The audacity blows my mind. The weasel has FIL paying back what he owes and then still gets aggressive via email. Karma can sometimes take awhile to come around but sooner or later it will.

What's even worse is that TB has a kid on the way, who at some point will find out on the internet that his/her dad is not the hero they thought he was, and reality will come crashing in. As a dad myself I don't even want to think of my daughter seeing me as a loser who is a habitual liar and fraud. He is clearly displaying many psychological deficiencies because to my mind nothing else makes sense to explain the utter self destructive behaviour. He must have no friends. What a pitiful human.

His angle will be to try and sue for damages as his "international business partners" will withdraw citing him being implicated in multiple fraud accusations. This will incidentally also be his angle to friends and family as to why he is down and out and why he needs funding for his next "brilliant" concept. I can assure you that at no point will he man up and take what's coming on the chin. You need ballas for that.

You could spend R300k and do an Llb during which you will spend a year learning that there is a bit more than that to the Law of Contract in South Africa, but even a cursory lecture from Prof Google will tell you that there are a number of elements that need to be present for a valid contract to be established.

But let's assume that you are right, when, in your opinion, was this hypothetical contract concluded and what do you base this on ?

I've been reading this intriguing tale of supposed deception and failure by the Two Oceans Marathon board recently and this morning came across this, which was quite interesting as it relates to so-called accusations of defamation and the defence thereof. 

In light of what has been revealed in this specific case I'd say that Taun has the onus firmly on himself to prove defamation in the events where he accuses others of being guilty. My guess is that he won't be pushing too hard considering that the inevitable outcome involves a court of law.

I suspect the time and effort to go that route is the biggest pain, with not much faith in the legal system it turns it into a real p.i.t.a and most will just walk away

Wait wait wait, so the refund was done by the FIL and only AFTER payment was made, THEN TB decided it was okay to come out from under his rock where he sat with his tail between his legs and was now all of a sudden big chested and making "demands" and threats and trying to intimidate you.
