bokkie donnered into him at Tankwa Trek. He's still not mended so no point in trying to compete for ACE win

Hopefully close enough to recovered to compete for something. Long days if hurting before the start of every day.

Glad Matt got sorted! He’s shown he can team up with a variety of partners. I think they’ll do really well (sure, they are not favorites anymore which could work in their favor)! I remember a couple of years back when Tristan's partner dropped out and he ended up getting great camera time sitting just behind the leading 2 teams with no other teams in sight.

He’s teamed up with Stedman, so may not be serious if he is. Unless it’s very recent.

I expect some team to hammer the prologue, Beers to klap the field on stage 1 with TN hanging on for them to move into Yellow with a nice cushion. Then blow up by stage 4 latest......

For Toyota Specialized Imbuko, the goal is clear: race aggressively, build partnerships and earn the yellow leaders’ jersey.

my armchair advice would be the opposite:

Nortje came 3rd last year, which must be the best so he is not totally out of depth here, but was a comfortable gap to Braidot and Avondetto who came 2nd and are back. The hammer needs to chill on the nail for the first 2/3 stages and see how the field plays out.

Makes me wanna go ride

But is it actually "tough" or just what normal people call a fun track?

These threads are classic, every year.

1) Debate why entry fee is so high and higher than back in my day.

2) Seeding chatter

3) Early weather and wind chat / where to park

4) Expo is worse than last time an goodie bag complaints

5) More accurate weather chat

6) Fantastic day out, definitely back next OR the bunch didn't have experience and caused my wipe out or ruined my day so I fellback
