Bought a feva seat + a cool looking helmet for my 15 m.o.

I thought I'd give it a try even though she'd probably be a bit small to enjoy it right away. But no, the she's just tall enough for the seat, and the helmet just fits her. Pretty happy with my purchases, the helmet definitely attracts a lot of attention

  • 2 weeks later...

Looking forward to seeing you two on the trails

We 4 had a mini-conference at the final bridge ascent of B-Spot in summer 2020.

It was pre-LD and pre-E-fiets so your memory may have faded. Or not.

I recall, you waited while I stood on the ramp waiting for Maritz.

Not sure you son was riding with though ... probably just my fading memory ...

Is that hands on the top of the forks position safe ?

I've seen it done in a road race on a steep down hill and I made sure to steer well clear of that rider.

Otherwise lekker to see the lightie enjoying himself

You don't have much control but it's no less dangerous than resting your forearms on the bars. Between top of forks and forearms I do it often on my commutes. I prefer the forearm option but I like to swop things around often.

I must also add I only do it on tar or really smooth dirt roads. If you hit a wobble or hole or rock you will need some lightning fast reactions to prevent a miguel lopez GIRO TT crash.

EDIT: Also not an option for cannondale lefty riders.............

Anatomic online (weardirect) have got some nice kids riding tops on sale at good prices.

Also note that what's on the website is not necessarily available in the factory shops. I popped into the Northcliff shop and couldn't find the right sizes for the twins. (I should probably just order online)

Yeah, my son was with, @ChrisF. He was struggling up the final wooden bridge.

I reckon you were too busy staring at my Scalpel. No worries, I understand.
