ChrisF Posted April 4, 2020 Share My bike took me to the garage .... Once there I thought I might as well play a bit ... Bought this beauty on 17 February, still had a bit of rehab to do before I could ride her ..... then the world changed .... have not even been able to put 1 km on the Blue Beast .... Never in human history has any bike been polished THIS many times, without even one decent ride ! J∆kk∆ls Posted April 4, 2020 Share Yesterday was my last ride outside. The government has issued a stay at home policy, though not as strict as South Africa I don't want to face a $750 fine or have an involuntary dismount and land up in hospital. Bike has just been cleaned and lubed and will be going on the trainer for the foreseeable future. Trainer road will be my go to.

A friend was booked to fly to Canada, for a 2 year period .... The borders closed two days before their departure. Been following the Canadian numbers. The last few days looks bad ! Charlie600 Posted April 5, 2020 Share Had an epic 35km afk@k session, doing mostly gnarly hills - because them Belgians are seemingly extremely law abiding and adhering to the required rules and regulations, we're still allowed to run, cycle, take the pooches for a walk etc. (in fact, it is encouraged by the government to retain some sort of psychological sanity). Albeit only with family members, residing under the same roof. ps: For those who said to me that Belgium is as flat as the Netherlands, I made a BIG mistake believing you! SwissVan Posted April 5, 2020 Share I don't think anyone would do that. They'd get so siff from the sweat that they'd be totally unusable in about 10 minutes.Mine would fill up pretty quick
Frosty Posted April 5, 2020 Share Tried a Rouvy AR route (North Applegate), today, in between coats of ceiling paint. Was wanting it to be a recovery ride, but trying to catch and pass the three names below mine put paid to that. BSG Posted April 5, 2020 Share Laps in the gardenInterestingly I've set up a shortish route in the yard as well, but after some garden work last week, my back went into spasms (had fusions done many moons ago) today to such an extent that I had to go for emergency fisio. So now sitting here with my back brace on full of frustration. [emoji856][emoji855][emoji3061]
