    Same feeling here.
I don't mind if it starts raining if I'm already riding. But driving to the start in the rain, unloading the bikes in the rain, standing in the start chute in the rain, and then riding 99.9% of the route in the rain... was definitely not my favourite day on the bike ever.
It did lead to me buying a big rear mudguard, hydrophobic jacket and a Mac In A Sac, so at least I'm ready for the next rainy race 😁

You got to drive to the start in the rain. We rode from the hotel and it was raining already when we left so we were drenched already when we got to the start chute. It only stopped raining after we got back to the hotel. Even rode back after finishing in the rain.

A wet, windy, lousy, slow CTCT still beats many things in life IMHO.

Wonder when his court case against CSA starts and if he will also throw this medal in the bin/ ask the council workers to go dump it in the big Kimberley Hole(his words in an Insta rant because the medal had "SA road and para cycling champs" engraved on it) after trying to burn it 1st??

That left such a sour taste in my mouth. I never really liked him but that was just the cherry on top. I'm not surprised he doesn't last long in teams if that's the way he acts.

Yeah.... And Lew Lew with his little frothy again...

As soon as it's Hamfistilton it's okay to be emotional in the heat of the moment, and you don't *really* mean what you say. Unless you're not Hamfistilton, in which case it's what you really think...

And the Lew Lew cheerleaders with their Hamfisted attempts at justifying a lack of strategic planning abilities....

    Sjoe.

Yes, I'm back. Back again. Mayhem's back, tell a friend.

Tell us how you really feel 🤣. I would love to know if there were radio conversations between LH and his team that they didn't play?

How's all the accusations about Yuki's very well timed loose seatbelt................

  4. Just when I think my team has run out of ways to stuff up they come up with something new. When the dude with the fresh left rear wheel eventually rocked up, his overall jacket wasn't even done up properly. Is there no more accountability for these rookie errors? Heads need to roll and not the drivers, they driving their hearts out.

So who watched this mornings event ?

In the last minute I had pretty much accepted the situation and then WHAM , Usman is A spectacular fighter but he's become so cringeworthy lately that I hoped he would get taken down A notch

Rockhold vs roid rage was also pretty dissapointing , pretty sure Luke got his nose broken in the first round and could breathe which is why the pace was so slow

Yeah I reckon everyone had accepted "and still". Leon looked gassed, superb kick.

Looks like Cameron Saaiman might get a contract soon 🤞🏼

    Daruvala?

I know it's too soon but watch out for Leclerc the younger

Yeah that's the dude. Drives the red bull.

Yeah Arthur is doing well. Possibly Ferrari can screw 2 LeClerc races up at once in a few years time.

The fuss is due to his junior record being comparable to that of LeClerc and Russell's, winning F3 & F2 at his first attempt. He beat most of the good drivers in F2 currently, apart from Sargeant. Pouchaire is very young and would possibly have been a more stiff competitor had Piastri been able to race F2 in '22. So Piastri is arguably the best of the 2021 - 2022 crop of F2 drivers.

What about Dracula(sorry I never know how to spell/pronounce it and when my boys say his name it sounds like dracula so thats what I call him).

Friend said he paid R10k for a weekend pass in 2010 so you might need to save a bit.
R50k might get you your 5 day passes for race day IF the F1 even comes here.......

Yeah there will be no extra saving unfortunately. That is already a pretty large amount for me so if it only gets me race day x5 then so be it.

Heres hoping your budget allows for 5 tickets and not 1 or 2. Could become awkward.......

Yeah it would. Budget set at R50k. I am kinda hoping it will get us tickets for multiple days. If it doesn't, we really are being screwed.

I got half excited and then reaslied it would probably cost a small fortune even for the cheapest tickets.

We have decided we going, the day the tickets go on sale I'm pulling the trigger. I have set a budget and will just get 5 tickets with in my budget. My wife and I have already discussed it and agreed so no faffing around deciding when the tickets go on sale.

Nice man. If I were to replace my Jura xf50, I would look at the e6. Enjoy Judy....... 😉

anyone notice how Lulu runs his hands through his braids after a GP like he's Subbing for Carlo Sainz in a Shampoo commercial? If the GP comes to Cape Town someone will vertel him "Your hair is croooos jirre mas se kind, hou op vryf"

I'm surprised he doesn't get his sidekick to do it for him. She seems to do everything else for him. Saw a video once of him on his scooter and she was lugging all his crap along while trying to keep up with him. We race as one mos.

I laughed so hard when he was complaining about the FIA not making everyone raise ride height and he said we supposed to race as one but they don't seem to treat us all the same.

That dust looks hectic, not good for the aircraft to be flying around in it as it will get in everywhere.

We have a customers plane here now that flew to Morocco through the Sahara sand storms earlier this spring, it’s unbelievable how much sand we found during the annual inspection…. Literally 100 hrs labour to clean it up and we still have some more cleaning left.

Nearly as bad as the pollen in Switzerland at the moment….

There's that side to it and also the erosion on the leading edges of the aircraft. I've seen paint completely "sand blasted" away from just a few flights in those conditions.

Surely it must also affect engine performance, volcanic ash can cause a flame out.

Yip, he has over ridden his team a few times, can’t pull the lil cry baby card now.

did you guys get Martin brundles pit walk? Hells bells what a **** show that was. Embarrassing. I cringed for the man

Yeah agreed, they usually pretty bad but this time round was by far the worst. He took a lot of flak on social media and has since then put out this tweet
