We have always stayed in Fish Hoek for CTCT, since 1989. Years ago when it didn't cost an arm and a leg to do the race my Dad was part of running the cycling club that SAA had. He used to organise the Argus trip. It was always around 20 people, of which at least 10 were cyclist'. We used to hire citi golfs with roof racks and pack the bike boxes on the roof HIGH and coming up to this bridge every year we used to just make it. Picture 3 or 4 citi golfs with cardboard boxes packed as high as a truck in formation going under that bridge. Luckily we never ended up like this truck.
