We literally had 20 mins to get our stuff and across or we would be stuck for a good few days.I ended up crossing the low water brigde, in a Nissan 1400, with water coming up and over the bonnet, washing into the cab through the open window. Bloody long 200m bridge!!!!!Lived to tell the tale. Friends of mine had to be rescued from the Groendal hiking area per helicopter after a flash flood. Steven Knoetze (sk27) 1

Long Wheel Base Posted July 16, 2020 Posted July 16, 2020 I see you and raise you this, mine is also a white double cab, but the Fortuner behind me didn’t make it!Oh mines a ToyotaLekker man, and the Toyota is often higher than the Nissan so that is probably close to double the depth of mine. My air intake sits inside the top of the wheel arch so could go deeper ito sucking water and all the electronics sit higher than that. But what I am worried about are door seals leaking. They apparently pretty leak free but I am not willing to try. I assume when you did that, they didn't leak?
