Yip, internet only came a bit later for me as well, on my Pentium 3. Thought the Pentium was the best thing since sliced bread at that time.

At the time, the Pentium 3 was the best thing since sliced bread.

I remember getting my first 1GB HDD and thinking..."I'll never use all this space!" and now I have a few TB storage in my machines and complain I don't have enough.

Yeah 1gb hdd was the shiz niz back then.

Sheesh you guys were spoilt - I think my first proper desktop computer had 500mb

I had an aunt that passed things on to me.

My first machine was an XT.

Us spectravideo and commodore kids could only aspire to a IBM :D

 

It's crazy back in the day school teaching us to draw a house in logo and my boss' daughter is going on a field trip to Sillicon Valley for her computer classes ..progress I guess.

One of my colleagues is going to Silicon Valley with part of her MBA...and I'm sitting here drawing that same house... :P (Ok, that second part is a lie, I never could draw :P )

First machine I had was a 386DX 40. Used to dig playing Jazz Jackrabbit on it.

One of my mates had a Commodore 64 that I used to jol on when I visited back in the day. Was great fun.
