My Grandad flew Lancasters during the war. Somehow he survived literally hundreds of missions, never once getting hit!

He went on to live to a ripe old age of 92.

Just good sometimes to be reminded of the treasures right under our noses. Kirstenbosch, they rate as the no. 6 botanical garden in the world. Not bad at all, if you think that it is only just over a 100 years old. And you can now ride your bike through the top part of it, as part of the Constantia Neck to Rhodes Memorial route. Part of it is on really nice single track built specially for us by the Botanical Society.

It may be fake but its still a damn good photograph. Excellent actually. 

 

Unless it was done in a controlled environment, placing a toy on a Jelly and getting that kind of focus and clarity in an open ocean condition would have required the patience and nerve of Job!
