Pieter-za Posted February 18, 2020 Share I'll be doing it as a warm up for the CTCT too. Can't seem to find a GPX file of the route thoughShould be possible to plot one from https://bergeendale.co.za/new-route-and-venue-announcement/ ?
RocknRolla Posted February 18, 2020 Share I'm a wee bit nervous. Being a road noob. I have only clocked about 500 odd km's on a roadbike. Will keep left. You can easily spot me by my baggies and avoid me accordingly. AdamA and Spinnekop

Can't seem to find a GPX file of the route though I have a gpx file that I created for the 109km route using the information from the race site. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/29391840 Edited February 18, 2020 by agilwolf

RocknRolla Posted February 22, 2020 Share I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this. Started too fast, luckily I could hook up to a group with a good steady pace, basically rode in this group till vrekpoort. Ran out of legs going up there, used the excuse of a nature break to get the HR down and finish the rest of the hill. Chilled till Hospital hill, which in my mind was a lot worse than it ended up being. All in a well organised event, no issues with vehicles or other riders. Aimed to finish in 4h ended up with a 3:57. beers at the finish was great! Roll on Argus! Bonus, Rowl and 475
