I went back and forth for about a year on the coffee machine I wanted to purchased.

End of the day it depends on your budget and what you want from a machine.

For me I wanted something long term that would offer the best coffee extraction I can get.

The Nespresso is great as it's easy to use/clean and offer great variety but becomes expensive long term due to the costs of the pods.

The bean to cup machine also a great option but from the machines we had in the office they became high maintenance if you want consistently good coffee.

So a year later I got me the Breville BES860 Eespresso machine from at Home. Costs R5600.

Took me about 2 weeks to master the skill and get the right settings.

I'm very very happy with my purchase especially now that i'm the Red Espresso buzz which none of the other machines can do.

I buy small batches of recently freshly roasted beans from my local coffee shop so now you don't find me that often at Seattle coffee.

Does anyone have experience with the Melitta range of machines?

We are looking at getting the 'Solo Perfect Milk' for our office

(If The Boss will pay...)

He is leaning toward a pod machine, but I don't think he realizes the long term costs.

Or the fact that a pod machine won't keep up with the demands of 25 of us...

Go for a Jura, tried and tested in an office environment...

Which one?

We used to have a smaller Jura, but that just couldn't take the pace.

I spent almost R1900 on Nespresso pods today.

Bought a Nespresso machine while my bean to cup DeLonghi coffee machine is being repaired under warranty
