Looking for some recommendations on an Espresso machine. Budget 20-25k.

Had a look at the Rancilio PID and the Lelit Mara, the Lelit looks much better on paper, but willing to consider other options.

I went with a MaraX, good balance of performance vs. price. Disadvantage is that it does not look as flash as a Rocket, for example, but there are upgrades available for the Mara, like wood handles and a flow control paddle.

Standard MaraX beats the Rancilio on looks imo.

I watched countless reviews today, and the MaraX seems to be the better option. No PID and pump pressure guage on the Rocket can be a deal breaker.

Also becoming more keen on a Rancilio V6 with PID and pre infusion kit.

Need advice please. I think my Jura xf50 needs a service. Last few weeks the consistency of the water temp seems hit and miss. Some days the coffee is luke warm and others it's still not that hot. Also the 2 outlets are not letting the same amount of coffee out. I Googled that and they said just stick a needle up there. It works but not long and the one side starts slowing again.

So should I attempt opening and servicing myself or just take it in. There are 4 oval screws on the back that you can buy a tool to remove but I can easily make something in 10 min for that.

Anyone here opened a Jura before? Any surprises inside?

Just from some random sites it just seems I need to clean and replace some o rings. But I want to open to see why the water isn't heating up properly.

hi try Woolfgang on 083 777 1094 he is specialist repair agent

Hi, does anyone know where I can find a replacement glass jar for a Hario Skerton Plus manual coffee grinder?

So how's the new machine coming on?

Not too bad actually, I'm feeling the need for a new grinder now... Haha

Too be honest other than the looks I can't see it's much better than the Oscar was, it takes a little longer to heat up unlike the Oscar. Then it doesn't run out of "steam" when i make < 5 cups

I'm after a naked portafilter filter now, but I've depleted my coffee budget for 2021

Sorry, cant help, however, My plastic container on my mini slim broke, and I was able to glue the parts back together. But it is made of plastic, so I was lucky.

Not sure if Hario ships directly, but you may be better off trying a glass jar of some sorts as mentioned previously.Ā

Thank you all, I have also contacted Cape Coffee Beans and apparently Hario do not ship replacement parts. Another supplier is currently looking for me. I have also read that some mason type jars may have the same neck size and thread. The search for anything that will fit, continues.Ā

Steaming wise? Improvement on ability to create microfoam?

I cut my teeth on the Oscar so when I upgraded I saw a great improvement in my milk textureĀ
